Why more movements?
Pushups were selected as the core movement because it's simple to perform, but hard to master. It also created constraints on the development so learnings could be made outside of which movement a user should perform. This has helped me focus on other elements of what makes a game fun and engaging.
Next Steps
We are working on better computer vision solutions so that we can introduce other movements such as squats, burpees, or other complex movements. Once this comes online, we can add many more movement types so training, special events, and main events will change frequently so the experience does not become boring.
